Drawing on ideas of presence and continuity, the Bond Ring reflects on lasting impressions and our relationship with the natural world. Conceived as a stringent sculpture to be carried on the hand, the design brings together FSC-certified Mpingo blackwood and precious metal in a seamless composition. The wood is cut using a refined and time-consuming technique, allowing it to be precisely embedded into the silver. The result is a quiet balance between material, process, and form - restrained, deliberate, and enduring.
