KINRADEN GUIDE TO PARIS

Paris has a way of leaving its mark - not just through the grandeur of its architecture or the elegance of its fashion, but through the quiet corners, unexpected encounters, and sensory details that linger long after you’ve left. After returning from Paris Fashion Week SS26, we found ourselves reflecting on the places that shaped our days between meetings, and we’ve created a list of our favourites for you to discover. Whether you’re visiting Paris for the first time or returning for the hundredth, these are the spots that capture the city’s spirit in ways both subtle and unforgettable.

Early June - Eatery

Hidden away in the 10ᵗʰ arrondissement at 19 Rue Jean Poulmarch, just steps from the Canal Saint-Martin, Early June is a restaurant and wine bar that feels quietly alive. Its intimate setting hums with conversation and the soft clink of glasses, while a rotating lineup of international chefs brings a sense of constant evolution. No two nights are the same here. It’s a place to linger, to share dishes, to watch the city’s rhythm unfold slowly.

Du Pain et des Idées - Bakery

Founded in 1875, Du Pain et des Idées is a Parisian institution - a bakery where tradition is not simply preserved, but elevated into art. Its ornate façade is a portal to the past, while inside, each pastry is a small act of perfection. Whether it’s their famous pain des amis or a golden croissant, everything here speaks of patience and craftsmanship. Just don’t forget - they’re closed on weekends, making a weekday morning visit even more special.

Ofr. - Bookshop

In the heart of the Marais, Ofr. stands as a creative anchor. More than a bookstore, it’s a cultural hub that brings together art, photography, design, and independent publishing. Its shelves are lined with rare finds and beautifully curated volumes - the kind that invite slow browsing and quiet discovery. It’s a place where you might pick up a book, but more often, you leave with a spark of inspiration.

Bleuet Coquelicot - Flower Shop

Paris blooms in unexpected ways, and Bleuet Coquelicot is one of those quiet floral sanctuaries that feels like stumbling upon a secret garden. This artisan florist celebrates the beauty of the seasons with locally sourced flowers and natural arrangements. Stepping into the shop is like taking a pause: colours, textures, and scents fill the air, turning even a brief visit into a moment of calm.

Chez Adel - Jazz Bar

A few quiet steps from the Canal Saint-Martin lies Chez Adel, a jazz bar that feels like a hidden chapter of Parisian life. With its worn-in interior, live music, and warm, familiar atmosphere, it’s less a venue and more a gathering place. Nights here unfold slowly - conversations stretch, melodies float through the air, and time seems to soften around the edges. For those seeking a night that blends spontaneity with timeless character, Chez Adel is the place.

Paris never fails to stir something in us - whether through the taste of a perfect pastry, the mood of a late-night jazz set, or a bookstore filled with creative energy. These places remind us why the city continues to be a wellspring of ideas and emotion, shaping the way we see and create.

With Love,
