KINRADEN GUIDE TO MILAN

Milan has a quiet kind of magic - one that reveals itself through design, conversation, and the beauty of shared moments. To mark our launch in the city, we gathered our community for an intimate dinner at the Muuto Apartment on Via Solferino - an evening filled with candlelight, thoughtful dialogue, and the warmth of connection. Surrounded by Danish design and the materials at the heart of KINRADEN - recycled 18K gold, sterling silver, and Mpingo blackwood - we celebrated the beginning of a new chapter. Inspired by that night and the city that hosted it, we’ve created a guide to our favourite Milan discoveries - places that reflect the same balance of craft, atmosphere, and quiet elegance that we cherish.

Bar Luce

Nestled inside Fondazione Prada, Bar Luce feels like stepping into a film still - and that’s no coincidence. Designed by filmmaker Wes Anderson, the café recreates the charm of a 1950s Milanese bar with mint-green Formica tables, terrazzo floors, and pastel jukeboxes. Every detail is considered, nostalgic yet precise, blending cinematic fantasy with everyday ritual. It’s the perfect spot for an espresso or a Negroni after visiting one of Fondazione Prada’s remarkable exhibitions, where art, architecture, and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony.

Brera Botanical Garden

Behind the historic walls of Brera lies a sanctuary few expect - the Brera Botanical Garden, first established in 1774. Here, flowerbeds, quiet ponds, and centuries-old trees form a living museum of Milan’s natural history. Walking its paths, you can sense the city falling away - replaced by the soft rustle of leaves and the perfume of herbs warmed by the sun. It’s a place for reflection, for stepping back into stillness, where art and nature seem to speak in the same language.

Rigolo Restaurant

In the heart of Milan’s Brera district, Rigolo is a restaurant with a soul - a relaxed mainstay where locals gather for comforting Tuscan cuisine served across four themed dining rooms. There’s a sense of continuity here, a rhythm that feels both timeless and familiar: the gleam of wood panelling, the hum of conversation, the scent of olive oil and rosemary. Each dish is simple and assured, rooted in heritage yet alive with the generosity of the present moment.

10 Corso Como

Housed within a typical Milanese casa di ringhiera, 10 Corso Como is more than a destination - it’s an experience. Founded in 1990, this pioneering concept store blurs the lines between fashion, art, design, and lifestyle. A leafy courtyard leads you into a labyrinth of curated objects, clothing, and rare books, each corner revealing another layer of Milan’s creative spirit. Whether you’re browsing a photography monograph, discovering a new designer, or pausing for coffee in the garden, 10 Corso Como feels like a quiet dialogue between culture and style - one that never really ends.

Milan has a way of staying with us - through its design, its conversations, and its quiet sense of refinement. From intimate dinners to hidden gardens and timeless cafés, the city continues to inspire the way we see, create, and connect. These places remind us why Milan feels less like a destination and more like a dialogue - one that lingers long after you’ve left.

With Love,
KINRADEN
