about us

Our actions today shape the world for tomorrow.

KINRADEN is dedicated to making a positive impact at every stage of our operations. Our belief is that every participant in our supply chain should thrive from their work, helping to combat exploitation of both people and nature.

Our jewellery exemplifies this dedication. KINRADEN fine Jewellery are crafted by hand and all collections are brought to life using only the finest recycled and purified 18-carat gold and sterling silver and all production is certified by Responsible Jewellery Council.

Our pride

Mpingo diamonds

Selected styles are adorned with diamond-cut Mpingo heartwood. These black heartwood diamonds, sourced from our "mine above the ground" in a lush and FSC certified forest in Tanzania, represent not just beauty but also environmental responsibility. All wood used are upcycled from the production of wind instruments and protected through WWF initiatives. The Mpingo heartwood is among the hardest and most durable, materials available. Meticulously cut and polished by skilled diamond cutters, these diamonds promise both
timeless elegance and enduring quality.

Our name

Derived from the old English word for "kindred," embodies our belief in unity and interconnectedness. It serves as a reminder that we are all bound together, sharing a single planet and a collective destiny. Our actions ripple outward, affecting the lives of others, urging us to tread with kindness and compassion.

We embrace this interconnectedness through our commitment to sourcing materials with the utmost respect for people and the environment. Our adherence to strict standards ensures that every piece of KINRADEN jewellery is not only a symbol of style and elegance but also a testament to responsible stewardship of our planet.

In a world where everything is interconnected, KINRADEN stands as a beacon of mindful practices, uniting outstanding design with integrity. We invite you to join us on this journey towards a brighter future—one where beauty, integrity, and compassion intertwine seamlessly.

The KINRADEN Manifesto embodies our mission.

It speaks to the essence of creating something profound, something that resonates deeply within us and connects us all as one. We acknowledge the need for change, recognizing that our actions today shape the world for tomorrow. With this understanding, we tread forward with a gentler step, mindful of our interconnectedness and responsibility to each other and the planet.

“This is it. And nothing we did was ever this important. To create something so beautiful it would be impossible to pass by untouched; something that will touch us deeply, because it reminds us who we really are – that we are one, infinitely related by spirit and blood. We know enough. Enough that our innocence has gone; we must change our ways and walk ahead with a gentler step.”

Our Founder

Sarah Emilie Müllertz

At the heart of KINRADEN is Sarah Emilie Müllertz, whose design philosophy intertwines with our ethos. Inspired by diverse influences ranging from Japanese design tradition to Danish architecture, Sarah's creations blend innovation with tradition. Her jewellery reflects a harmony between form and function, driven by a passion for mindful living and a reverence for nature.

Our responsibility

Thoughtful jewellery crafting

It's easy to overlook the environmental impact of seemingly small items like jewellery, but the truth paints a much starker picture. The extraction of a mere gram of virgin silver or gold can demand the destruction of a ton of ore, leaving irreversible scars on landscapes. Moreover, this process releases harmful substances such as arsenic, cyanide, and mercury into the environment, wreaking havoc on land, forests, rivers, and even the air we breathe. At KINRADEN, we assert that the method of jewellery production carries as much weight as the final product itself.

crafted by skilled artisans

Each piece of KINRADEN jewellery is crafted by skilled artisans in our state-of-the-art
facility in Thailand certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. We take immense pride in partnering with a family, where principles of fairness, equality, and respect are woven into the fabric of their operations. This partnership ensures that every hand involved in crafting our jewellery experiences a dignified work environment, reinforcing our commitment to upholding human dignity in every aspect of our enterprise.

As a modern and conscientious luxury brand, we have committed ourselves to two of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We champion fair and dignified employment practices (Goal 8) while advocating for responsible production and consumption (Goal 12). This dedication permeates our operations, driving our pursuit of empowering individuals and fostering responsible, circular practices within the luxury industry.

Our Circularity

circularity is eternal

The circular economy represents a paradigm shift aimed at mitigating waste and the relentless exploitation of Earth's finite resources. Departing from the linear 'take-make-dispose' model, it embraces a cycle of reuse, sharing, repair, remake, recycle, and re-engineer. This closed-loop system dramatically reduces waste and pollution, fostering a responsible and harmonious relationship with our environment. In a circular economy, responsible resource management isn't just a target; it's a fundamental principle, ensuring equitable resource allocation for all while safeguarding the health of our planet.
